Knowledge
Communities

NIGP Knowledge Communities grew from the desire
of NIGP members to connect with peers who work in areas
of similar focus. Through community-specific online
discussion groups, members can reach out to one another for advice,
share successful and not-so-successful experiences that provide support and a connection that is as unique as each member.

Our community groups focus on:

Technology
Share information on technology practices, policies and procedures or learn how others are using technology to support the success of their operations.

Green
NIGP's Green Knowledge Community brings together subject matter experts and practitioners to develop, disseminate and promote information and resources for and about policy development, environmentally preferable products, and social and economic responsibility in public procurement.

K-12
The K-12 is for individuals that work in K-12 public education. Learn how other school districts are tackling the latest challenge.

PREP
Allows member agencies to develop partnerships with other member agencies to assist in times of emergency. Your partner will be there to provide immediate prearranged assistance to public purchasing personnel during pre and post emergencies in order to ensure public health, safety and continuity of government.

Students
Gives students the opportunity to learn more about the procurement profession and network with other members.
