Presenter’s Biography:
Debbie Hamel, CEO, TakeCharge Technologies, is a 19 year information management expert with a successful track record of profitability, delivery and growth. She is a recognized leader in the areas of procurement card programs, source-to-settle, spend compliance, and payment method strategy, best practices, process, and integration. Debbie has implemented financial and procure-to-pay solutions in both the public and private sectors and is the author of the Spend Management Metadata MasterClass. She founded XMLSolutions, acquired by Vitria in order to extend their collaborative value chain solution. Prior to that, Debbie was International Vice President, PLATINUM technology, preceded by work at ACCENTURE, Reltech and AAA. Debbie holds a Finance B.S.B.A., a B.S. in Psychology and an INSEAD Executive Certificate in Global Management. Debbie’s charitable business contributions include the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurs (NFTE), GWU WEL, Women in Technology, and Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO). She has served as a board member for NFTE and the Washington Business Journal in addition to numerous technology companies.
