NIGP maintains a pool of qualified instructors that are considered to be ambassadors of education for NIGP and its programs. Training classes for interested individuals are offered twice a year by the national organization. Inclusion in the classes is by application with successful completion of six milestones required of the applicant before becoming certified. If you are interested in becoming an NIGP Certified Instructor, please contact the Education Department at education@nigp.org 

Milestones for Trainer Success

Milestone #1:
 
Acceptance into the program through application
Milestone #2:
 
Successful completion of the three day seminar
Milestone #3:
 
Admittance into the program
Milestone #4:
 
Successful recommendation for further student teaching with a mentor
 
Milestone #5:
 
Successful completion of a second student teaching assignment and recommendation for certification
 
Milestone #6: Personal commitment to the Instructor program of NIGP as a Certified Instructor
