Purchasing Cooperatives
The National Institute of Governmental
Purchasing, Inc. was established in 1944 to provide education, certification and
technical assistance for those who spend taxpayers' dollars in the United States,
Canada and other nations. NIGP membership is comprised of purchasing agencies in
the federal government, cities, states, provinces, counties, colleges,
libraries, hospitals, and other public bodies.
