In an effort to prepare candidates for the computer-based CPPO exam containing 175 questions, this course provides a review that addresses key information on topics identified in the UPPCC Body of Knowledge. Considered as a tool to help the student in assessing their own strengths and weaknesses, as they relate to the subject matter, this course is only a part of the candidates overall study plan for preparation. Participation in this class does not guarantee success on the examination

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge of the content of the six domains in the body of knowledge as it relates to the CPPO Examination.
Describe the testing environment for the certification exams.
Explain various methods of study that will help prepare for the exam.

Completion Requirements

Attendance at all sessions of the entire course is required and will be monitored.
Active participation in all self assessments is required
NIGP will not issue partial Contact Hours.
An evaluation form must be completed and returned to NIGP prior to the completion of the course
CEUs are not awarded for attendance.

Competency Alignment

The CPPO course does not follow NIGP Pathways Competency framework.

Cancellation Policy

Registration and payment must be received 24 hours prior to the course start date. After this time, registrations will be based on space availability.  A full refund, less a $75 administrative fee will be given for cancellations made in writing 31+ days prior to the seminar date by emailing RegistrationInfo@nigp.org. No refunds are given for cancellations received within 24 hours of the seminar start date. There are no refunds for no-shows. If the seminar is cancelled for any reason, NIGP's liability is limited to the registration fee only.

Attendee substitutions within the same agency may be done at any time with email notification to NIGP. If attending via scholarship, please provide documentation verifying the scholarship issuer's name and contact information in lieu of payment information.
